Al mare. Studio. is a visual communication studio founded sometime between 2017 and 2019 by Giulio Ferrarella, an art director who has been working in culture and business since 2006. His extensive background in design spans almost countless sectors and clients, including institutions, museums, major events, industrial enterprises, publishing houses, and football teams.

Giulio has cultivated his creative expertise and knowledge in the diverse fields of visual communication, encompassing graphic design, photography, and video production, alongside brand, exhibition, and interactive design. After graduating from the Faculty of Design at the Politecnico di Milano back in 2008, he has worked at Oliviero Toscani Studio (2008-2010) and Leftloft (2011-2023) alongside myriad side projects picked up along the way.

Giulio has played a pivotal role in numerous notable projects, some of which include the rebranding of Madre Napoli, communication for Castello di Rivoli, the 14th Istanbul Biennial, the Italian Pavilion at the 47. Venice Biennale, and the rebranding of Subito.it, F.C. Internazionale and Colmar, among others.
